The Gull Rd., Menards in kalamazoo has delivered exceptional customer service to me in 2025. For the first time in my life, I bought a new house on my own knowing while I might be in over my head. There have been multiple items I’ve needed such as landscape, irrigation and gardening equipment, a propane exterior fire place, mini-fridge, and now a small size snow thrower. Each and every time I received quality guidance as I made my selection on a budget, they were all clearly well informed, never seemed bothered by my endless questions, gathered up all the heavy materials, brought them up front or had me pick them up out back. I never had to wait for these items and everyone was super friendly and wonderful. Now, when I need anything related to my new house or landscaping, I go straight to Menards on Gull Road! Menards Rules All!!!!

My app stopped working. It keeps giving me “Oops… unable to…” messages. The last thing I had done was search for a store location and it got stuck in that mode. It said “oops” it was unable to find a store location so I tried to search for a product. It told me “oops” it couldn’t do that either. I tried to go to my cart and then my account and “oops” it couldn’t find either of those things either. I reluctantly logged out of the app and it then wouldn’t let me log back in because “Oops unable to get account information at this time, please try again later”. I reluctantly deleted the app and downloaded it again. I got the same “oops” message saying it could not find my account information. I’m thoroughly disgusted as this has been happening for over a month that I am aware of. There is no store where I live so I place orders online and drive to the closest store to pick up my orders. I can use the Menards website, but the app does not work. Update - I figured out it was due to the use of a VPN. Although I had never had this problem before, once I disconnected from my VPN I was able to log in and use the app again.

I didn’t really care for this app at first, as it was not very useful, but it is getting better. The view in store was not very helpful, as it just pointed you to a general area. But now you can see the exact aisle and section, very helpful! I also like the addition of the option to save an item for later. Before I had to add items I was considering to a list, but now I just click save for later, I love it! A couple things I would like to see added are the ability to copy & paste. I was looking for a receipt and scanned the item, but I was not able to copy the SKU to paste to the lookup receipt function. I had to write it down and then type it in the receipt lookup. Another great thing would be to search for a SKU on all of your saved cards in the receipt lookup and not one card at at time. EDIT: Thank you for adding the option to copy & paste! This is helpful when scanning an item and copying the SKU to look up the receipt.
