Sandboxx

SANDBOXX is an amazing program to correspond with your recruit in basic training. It is straightforward and quite easy to use. I have Used this app “SANDBOXX” For two of my grandchildren. #1 was my Grandson in the Navy Boot Camp at Chicago. The second is my Granddaughter who is still at Fort Jackson at the Army Bootcamp where she will be graduating in two weeks. This “SANDBOXX” app is extremely easy to use. One of the great features I like is that you can send four pictures with each letter to help keep our trainees up with our life at home. Another great feature I like about the program is that it gives you a very good insight into what your recruit will be doing each week. Pictorial and a very good verbal description of all the training they will be experiencing that week. This helps communicating with our recruit, talking about all the events they will be experiencing for that week. To help keep our trainees morale high, and let them know we are thinking of them , Sandboxx Has easy to send Bible verses, and many other Motivational items. Also a great News program of what is going on in the military development world. To me; “Sanboxx” helps our Cadets maintain a high morale and keep them Motivated to continually doing their best in assimilating the important training they receiving !! And important to me, it’s like sharing the training They experience each week. I highly recommend you use “SANDBOXX” to communicate with your recruit.

I do not write reviews this is my first and I have to say that I had to write this review. My son left to Marine bootcamp last September and became a United States Marine in December in those three months I wrote 91 letters in those were included the daily drive motivation, the weekly dispatch on duty and off duty. My son loved receiving them and he shared them with other recruits at the time. They all looked forward to receiving them and it helped them feel connected to the outside civilian life and unless you go thru bootcamp yourself or have a son, daughter or family member go thru bootcamp you won’t understand how important that was for my son and his fellow recruits to receive those flyers. How a simple sheet of paper made them feel happy and motivated. I also got copies of them myself and I have to be honest that reading them made me feel closer to my son. The letters if you submit them before 4 pm they send them out the next day and you are allowed to attach 4 pictures. I wrote two letters a week and I would use every character allowed until it reached zero. With the letter they receive they attach an envelope addressed back to you and a piece of paper so they can write back to you. This app helped me stay connected to my son and it helped me get thru the 13 weeks he was in bootcamp. In the app there is also an option to send gift cards my son received them and used both cards sent. Also I had some letters left over and instead of just losing them the app allowed me to donate them to other moms, wives, sisters and family members to write to their recruits.

I really like this app a lot! It’s very convenient when you don’t have the time to write a letter by hand and go through the process of having to put it in an envelope, writing the address, finding stamps then looking for a mailbox. It’s kinda like texting a message from the phone which is what everyone does nowadays. It also sends photos from your phone so you won’t need to print any to send them but only one per letter. It lets you know updates and changes the person you’re writing too is going to be going through at basic training. I think my only issues is how many notifications it sends of when you send a letter, it keeps giving me three notifications at the same time saying the same thing, “you’re letter has been delivered”. The other thing is that letters are $4 each but they do cut the price a little when you by big bundles but you also get taxed. For me, I think it’s pretty expensive but I would send daily letters to my husband while he was at basic and he got the letters very quickly. Usually when I got a call, he was pretty much up to date unless I said something that happened yesterday or couple days ago. The letters I sent from Sandboxx got received a few days after I sent it while hand written ones I got from my husband took a week. All in all, Sandboxx is pretty good, letters are easier to write, less time consuming and they send the letters quickly. Only problem is the price of letters really.
