Royal Air Maroc

Im in the Casablanca airport and the app won’t display my flight info. It just goes to white screen. Also, it issued me a digital boarding pass for my first flight to Morocco but freezes every time I try to add it to my apple wallet. But the biggest issue is that after issuing me a digital pass for my first flight it just gives and unhelpful error for the second flight. In Casablanca they don’t accept digital passes. The app could have told me paper was required. It also could have told me check in was required at the first airport rather that being able to check in at Casablanca for my NY flight. Maroc denied me boarding in Casablanca and rebooked me next day. Maroc will not pay for hotel. Epic fail.

I recently traveled with Royal Air Maroc on the route from Casablanca to Istanbul. This journey reminded me of the old saying: “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” For RAM, it feels like this is the very beginning of that journey in learning that customers are valuable and their opinions matter. Morocco is becoming the gateway for global events — from the World Cup to the Africa Cup of Nations and many international gatherings. This means Royal Air Maroc is not just an airline, but also the face of Morocco to the world. At this crucial moment, the airline’s leadership and administration must show vision, invest in staff, and put customer experience at the very center of operations. Unfortunately, my most recent flight highlighted ongoing weaknesses. RAM seems to have outsourced services to a Brazilian company (called “Eagfly”), whose staff and crew were unprofessional, poorly trained, and disengaged. The service onboard felt careless and unstructured, and the pilot’s performance inspired little confidence. This is unacceptable for a national airline that represents Morocco. At present, too many employees treat their work simply as a salary, not as a service. There is insufficient training, weak customer service culture, and a lack of genuine care for passengers. The airline must: • Train staff properly, with emphasis on customer care and professionalism. • Empower more women in frontline service roles, ensuring a civil, attentive, and welcoming experience. • Centralize customer service so passengers feel they are the true priority. Royal Air Maroc can and must do better. With Morocco stepping onto the world stage, the airline needs to rise to the challenge and show the world the best of Moroccan hospitality and service. The potential is there — but at the moment, it is far from being realized

The app is very helpful and makes the reservation like a breeze. I always use the app to book the family trip with no issues. Also, Safar flyer rewards points were easy to get and applied. The only complaint I have is the ticket price is always expensive compared to other European companies. But we still like to travel with RAM and hope they will improve prices for Moroccan overseas.
