Quick Capture - Vault notes

App fills an important gap in my daily workflow and I’m excited to support it. Would love to see 2 features: 1) the ability to set an option in a destination to always send task to a todo list. Requiring that we hit the alarm button first prevents tasks from being created when the Apple Share Feature is used. 2) An easy way to set the Vault and specify a default sub folder for notes to save per destination. These would push the app to 5 stars for me. Thanks!

Fills in the missing piece for obsidian mobile! Packed with tonnes of features and the open AI API integration is exactly what I was looking for. Just with there was an option for transcription ONLY. Currently you can record a voice note, auto transcribe it, then you have to delete the voice recording before inserting every time. Otherwise your vault will fill up with the audio files. I want an option that auto discards the recording and just inserts the transcription.

I wish this would work seamlessly, but in all fairness this might have to do with the fact that the obsidian app apparently cannot run in the background on iOS. So, this works as longs as 1) you open the obsidian app after adding something. If you don’t, don’t expect any addition you made to appear on any other device syncing obsidian with your iPhone, 2) you don’t append to an existing file that has been modified on another device. If you do, the obsidian app will first get the state of your file before additions from this app are made, second, append your additions from this app, but third, overwrite those changes with whatever modified version of the file it finds in the online sync database. It seems this one could be fixed by waiting for the obsidian sync to complete before appending any content from this app. A few seconds delay would probably do the job.
