Got notified that there was fraudulent activity on my card, so I called to get it cancelled and get a new card issued. The first rep I talked to was very helpful and got a new, personalized card mailed to me, and told me that in the meantime I could get a new instant-issue card from my employer to access the funds that I am owed. Got a new instant-issue card from my employer, called to get it activated, and was told by the SECOND rep I talked to that to do so they’d have to cancel the new personalized card I’d ordered a few days back. But they’d send me ANOTHER personalized card, instead. Or I could just wait until the first personalized card arrived and activate then. I can’t afford to have my money held hostage, so I said whatever, fine, let’s just activate this instant-issue so that I can actually use my money. The rep helped me activate it, then said she was sending me to an automated system that would help me set my pin. But the automated system I got sent to just asked for my card info and sent me to yet ANOTHER rep (on the 3rd, now) who then told me the only way to set my pin was through the automated system or the website. But, since I was already on the line, she’d connect me to the automated service. And then she just… hung up on me. So I turned to the website, but it didn’t have an option to set a pin, so I had to download this app. Finally I have access to my money, which is cool. But it’s frustrating knowing I will have to go through this whole process again after my second personalized card arrives in the mail (because apparently when the first finally arrives, I have to destroy and dispose of it). Waste of time, waste of resources, and terrible for the planet as now I’ll have had FOUR pieces of plastic issued to me and one of them will be completely unusable from the get-go.
I got this card thru my employer so my pay checks automatically are loaded on it and so far this app has been great! The thing I like the most is I set up a certain amount to be taken out of every check automatically and put in my savings account and it does it without fail every pay check! I have even changed the amount a couple of times. I love that feature! I have never had any problems transferring money or anything. The only issue I have had with it is the text alerts but that is a minor issue to me and not really worth complaining about. I never have a problem with it loading and everything or anything I do on there seems to be pretty speedy. I actually love this app and hope it continues to work good for me.
The app seems to be having some issues. I stoped getting the text alerts for my card. Tried to sign into my app to see what the issue could be. Discovered I had forgotten my password. Tried several times, and tried to have a reset password emailed to me. Discovered that I had used the wrong email address when setting up the app; so I was unable to receive the email to reset my password. Called customer service. She was able to change my email so I could reset everything. The lady on the phone was very hard to understand and was annoyed that I asked her to repeat herself. When we were finished; she made sure to tell me I could/should use the app/website for issues like this. Which I understand; but if the email was wrong and I wasn’t able to remember my login information then how could I have used the app/website? I felt it was rude of her to say it that way. Then when I was able to get a reset password email; it took several tries. The first several time I just simply got an email that said I had reset my password, even though I had not yet been able to do that.
