Pregmate Ovulation Tracker

November 2023: I am super impressed by Pregmate’s staff, responsiveness, and willingness to improve. I posted my original review (below) just a few months ago hoping that they would add more options relating to my mood, not just physical symptoms. I just got an email from them letting me know that they have updated the app. Now, when you click on Add Symptoms, you have the ‘Mood’ option! They added really helpful emotions that are more descriptive than just sad or happy. I feel super valued and heard as a customer that this edit was made to the app. They have made a loyal customer out of me. Thank you Pregmate!! I am upgrading my review from 4 to 5 stars! September 2023: I really like this app! I deleted Flo and have been using paper and pen to track my cycle for about 14 months. I downloaded it after the Pregmate team sent me an email advertising this app. I asked if they sell our data, and they let me know that they would not share or sell our data. I love that you can add pictures of ovulation and pregnancy test strips. It’s so much easier to keep track of. It’s simple and user friendly. My one criticism is that I would like to see more emotional describer words in the add symptoms tab. It’s helpful for me to track my energy levels. I also experience depression and mood swings around day 16-20, so it would be nice to rate my emotional state on those days. Overall, this is a great app for people who have a general knowledge of their cycle. I have recommended it to my friends who are also tracking their cycles!

This app is the most clean-cut fertility tracking app I have ever seen or used, and it does not have any ads. The design is very sleek and easy on the eyes. It is simple to input your data for periods and LH test strip results. Many apps do not have a feature to log LH test results, and are geared more towards another method of tracking, so this one is really a great find! However, the one con with it is that it appears to not take the user’s data into account when estimating the fertile window. For example, I entered my data of menstrual cycles, negative and positive LH tests for previous cycles, and the information did not seem to change what the app predicted would be my fertile window. But, anything an app predicts regarding fertility should be taken with a grain of salt anyway! :) Also, the calendar view of it doesn’t have a bold, “this is your fertile window!” indicator. You have to view each individual day to see if the app says that it is a fertile day or not. Overall, it is a handy place to store the information you have gathered from LH testing!

I really like this tracker because the design is clean and simple, it’s intuitive to use. I did a lot of research before committing to the app. This company has done it right. I never have to guess when my cycle is coming. The app tells you when your chances of getting pregnant are high or low. I also love how the app reads your ovulation or pregnancy test for you. You just need to take a picture of your test and it gets interpreted right away. Sometimes I don’t feel like taking a picture and can just press a matching color of the line that I got. In case I ran out of my ovulation or pregnancy products I can always purchase them from the app, which is super convenient! I feel like Pregmate is one of the most comprehensive fertility apps I’ve used, and I’ve tried several over the years. My OBG asked me the other day when my last cycle was and all I had to do was open the app and all my info was right there. The app is really wonderful and I highly recommend it.
