Okay so, I just joined the platform and I the first THREE video calls I answered were of men — “exposing themselves” — to me. I joined as a psychic to help people; I don’t want to see those images unsolicited. There is no “censoring”, and there is no way to report these users. I would love to report them and send them to an admin for review but you CAN’T do that, because it is not a feature. The app should: 1. allow psychics to report members for porn (with members getting auto-reviewed after 1 report) OR 2. use machine learning to parse the images and prevent unsafe/NSFW images I’m not sure how it even got approved on the app store without one of those features. I’ll update this review if the app addresses these issues — but right now the app is unsafe for women. I wish I could give it zero stars for that purpose. I don’t really care about making money if I have to sift through literal pornographic images to finally get to a few real clients. If I wanted to do porn I would join OnlyFans.
It is nearly impossible to actually get a profile picture approved. They make it almost completely prohibitive to create a profile and use the app as a broadcaster. I’m sorry, but from a marketing perspective, you are gatekeeping with your restrictive photo policies and shutting out creators based on their appearance. No other service I have worked for has had this kind of ridiculous response to standard headshot photos and video content. You don’t respond to the chat requests I’ve sent asking for a specific explanation of exactly what is being violated and I can only assume your discriminatory practices are just common place enough that you don’t think you owe anyone any explanation for your decisions.
As a reader on this site I really enjoy the app and I like the information that it provides I do wish that it had a sound notification like it could maybe give a couple of dings whenever there’s a notification some type of sound notification would be great but the app is wonderful either way. That would be the only thing that I would want to change at the present moment would be to have sound whenever there is a message that comes in.
