Olga's

I’ve used this app & enjoyed Olga’s from the Bloomfield Township location for years. But I just had my 3rd car-side-to-go order in a row that couldn’t be delivered to my car but I had no way of knowing. So I sit in my car waiting at least 5 mins after the order ready time, then have to walk in, stand in line with the walk-ins & Dashers. Only to have the single employee assigned to answer phones & handle take-out grab my order off the counter where it’s been sitting & getting cold. I do not blame the single overworked employee for this issue. But either the app needs to have location specific feedback to customers or the management at this location needs to turn off car-side-to-go if they are not able to provide the service. Two stars for the polite employees enduring a mad customer (me) and the good but slightly cold food.

We frequently go to the Alton, Illinois Olgas, at least once, usually twice a week when we’re at our home in Edwardsville. I Love Olgas! I’m originally from Michigan so I basically grew up with Olgas. I sure wish they would expand further south, there’s a market for such a awesome place and I bet every store would be successful! The service we receive at the Alton location is nothing short of perfection. If by some strange chance there is a issue with your order they are on it immediately even though the place is very busy at all times. Maybe a Destin Florida location 🤷‍♀️ or maybe the recipe for your Olgas sauce so those of us that are addicted to it won’t have to go through withdrawal when there’s not one in our location.

I have visited this location twice in the past four weeks and have placed large to go orders which have been a nicely put together with good taste and presentation when eaten. I take food from Michigan to New York and enjoy it where we don’t have Olga’s. Megan and Veronica coordinated my huge order today, cheerfully and competently. They are very service oriented! I think them for taking such good care of me! I also note that the restaurant is very clean, the ladies room was also very clean and stocked. The GM is on site, and actually seated me and checked on me during my visit. As a 30-year patron of Olga’s, I am very impressed with this Olga’s location and will return when my travels put me in the area.
