oladoc - the health app

Oladoc is an amazing platform which makes life easier and convenient. We can prioritize our health from wherever and whenever. I always had excuses to delay my medical checkup but not anymore as I can connect with a doctor within the comfort of my home. The doctors’ panel is really impressive and my experience with Dr Mehak Hanif has been exceptional. She helped me figure out the root cause of my illness and did not just prescribe medicine for the sake of it. She discussed all my symptoms in detail and I can say that she cares for her patients. Great work Team Oladoc! Way to go!

Their support is absolutely unprofessional. They do not take responsibility for when you pay a doctor for video consultation and the doctor says their camera is broken. Not even when the doctor themselves confirm their camera was broken the previous day so they should not have taken the appointment in the first place. When you as for a refund they will feed you pre-written statements and ignore your complaint. And they will also forward you the messages and voice note written by the doctor and send yours to them. The doctor will also share your diagnosis with the support staff though it’s supposed to be confidential. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APPLICATION because if something goes wrong you will be on your own.

This is a very good application that helps in finding out qualified doctors. You can book appointments conveniently from within the app. One thing that I realise is that it should have a location based sort as well. For example I want to see the doctors near me in Korangi but the app show results for north karachi, Gulshan e Iqbal etc on top and I have to scroll down and scan search results a lot and some time I have to go to the details. Apart from this it’s a very good initiative 🙂👏😍
