Iโve had SO many benefits from this app, in particular being able to see just how productive I am as a percentage throughout the month puts my own successes in context and reminds me of where I could improve while also still being encouraging. The only thing I wish is that routines could be rolled over into other days just like regular to-do items. While I would like to stick to certain days or times during the week, mostly whatโs important to me is the frequency, and there are some weeks where I get to it another day than the one I initially planned for. To be fair, I can always scroll to a previous or future day to check off the completed item, but I feel like it would be much smoother to be able to check it off a bit more easily. Perhaps there could be an option for a routine menu of its own with frequency counters? For example, instead of specific days being marked, there are just 3 circles that you can check each weekly, biweekly, or monthly period regardless of the specific day you completed on. I still like the idea of specific days though! I would just the flexibility to be a more easy option.
The agenda tabs are nothing short of a godsend. Iโm a very โout of sight, out of mindโ person attention-wise, and Iโve tried a million different organization/scheduling apps on iOS, and none of them have stuck for me. Iโve mourned over how many nicely designed apps Iโve tried have ultimately been useless up against how my brain works. NoteCircle is the first exception to this, and I will use it for as long as it exists and if it ever goes away as an app, I will recreate it on paper, it works that well for me. I LOVE the Routines and how they integrate into my daily To Do, and having a list feature is so incredibly helpful because keeping all of these things in one app is helpful for my mind which can scatter easily if I have to check across multiple apps for pertinent information. I just wish I could add new list items from a handy button at the top of the list, not an ever-present text input field at the bottom of the list. It would be nice if the button could create a small text field at the top of the list to then fill in with the new list-item.
Really neat app! Love that everything is right in one app instead of having multiple apps for different things. Thereโs a few things I wish were added though: 1) The capability to sync google or the native Apple calendars in the events section. A lot of people use those calendars and itโs tedious and time consuming to have to type in the exact same thing into multiple calendars. 2) If there was an option to disable or turn off the โRoutineโ actions from automatically being put in the โTodoโ section. When those actions are automatically added to the โTodoโ section, it makes it feel like I have even more things that I have to accomplish for the day and if clutters the to do list. Itโs be cool if the routine actions were able to stay separate from the to do list. Because of those two things, I likely wonโt use the โRoutineโ or โEventsโ sections until if/when some updates are made. Also, the act of adding to dos to the list is a bit clunky and could be more seamless. Too many tapping on different areas to add a to do, get it saved, then have it moved alphabetically in the list, then you have to scroll to add another to do. I feel like you should just be able to press โdoneโ then start automatically typing another to do. Kind of like when youโre making a checklist in the native Notes app. All you have to do is press โreturnโ and start typing a new line other than those things, itโs a pretty solid app. Would definitely use it exclusively if there were some changes. The UI is really nice too. Love the colors and flat and sleek design.
