I’m a visual person and this app has been perfect for for me. With other writing apps, my ADHD struggles with object permanence and my content ideas get lost in a sea of folders, so I don’t go back and work on what I’ve done because I forget it exists. Seeing all my entries in a calendar has fixed that, not to mention it’s a great way to implement Jerry Seinfeld’s “don’t break the chain” writing advice. I do have one suggestion! Right now, I do most of my entries from my Mac. I’m nervous writing on mobile because the delete button is dangerously close to the keyboard and when I tested it there’s no undo option to put back what you deleted. Please put the delete button somewhere “harder” to find and accidentally tap. Great work, thank you!
I love using the app- I just wish there was a way to record reading from the day before. I read at night and don’t always record the same night but I can’t go back to yesterday and login.
I love the UI and basic offering of the app but it’s a bit buggy, unfortunately. There is a bit of a freeze while trying to type and it’s not easy to highly or edit texts because of the bugginess. Also, it would be great to be able to cut and paste text!! Also, when attaching pictures, once saved, they don’t show up in the journal entry. I hope you can attend to these issues because I really like the app, but it’s a bit of a pain as is.
