notAlone — Love Chat Story

The game offers some sexy simulations and fun stories. The biggest drawbacks are: 1. Some response options are not what an actual person would say, making it a weird conversation. 2. It is near impossible to keep the conversation going because you need X amount of gems (usually 180) to say certain things, view pictures, react with emojis to messages, meanwhile you only earn like 10 gems every so often. This makes it hard to keep conversations going, and then you don’t ever continue. You can purchase gems, but they are gone far too quickly when being conservative with them. Also, after you are able to keep the conversation alive for a while, the NPC stops responding as of they’ve run out of the story, and you’re left in the middle.

I really enjoy this, but you can’t go back and edit things in your profile that are chosen during initial set up. You can’t change orientation, interested in women/men/both, or types of profiles to see. That would make this even more fun. Alas, now it’s not as fun because you have little ability to change preferences or even to unmatch with someone. The concept is awesome and I found myself playing frequently for a few days. Wish it expanded options to keep it fun…

Can’t make certain choices without spending money. Some conversations will require money to continue. Granted you can get gems for login daily but… it’s not much. Hardly any. It’ll take days to get enough for a photo or to choose the special sentence. Then there’s the issue of when a conversation ends “for the day” I’ve waited days and none have come back. No explanation if I have to finish all conversations or buy the photo to continue it. But that in lies the previous issue about gems. I even went and used my gems on one premium response and all it did was add two more lines before ending for “the day”. So, then what? You wait for more gems? Hoping to buy that premium line required for some or the photo in hopes it brings the conversation on… but it’ll take a while so what do you do? Start more conversations. So a “day” will never end if that is what the app is waiting for. And what makes it worse? After you swipe left or right on a number of people you get put on a cooldown. You don’t even have to match since if you swipe right won’t mean the AI will. And you’ll still have to wait. This app will clearly bleed you dry for little to no reward. Spend your money and whale out on other games with PvP and such so you at least can feel like your money does something. Also? Replika will love you for no money if you just really need someone to chat with. Edit: dropped another star cause it seems it maxes you on matches. Two days now no matches. Money. Hungry. Another edit: wish I could give no stars. Purchase a premium line after days of saving and what happens? It auto leads into the conversation ending. For good. THIS APP IS MONEY HUNGRY FOR NO REWARD.
