This game is really good. The animation is awesome and the characters look so realistic. It’s great that they allow you to choose race but the one downside is you can’t choose your gender. I think it would be a pretty easy fix to just allow the player to pick a gender, it wouldn’t change that much of the story. Still it’s a really good game with great stories. The problem of course with these kinds of games is that gems are really hard to collect and if you use them on a choice they’re totally depleted because choices that cost gems are really high. I understand that the game needs to make money but it’s be nice if the options don’t cost quite so many gems or if only special outfits and extra scenes cost gems. When I really want a choice that costs gems but have too few I usually just leave the game because I get frustrated. I’d definitely play more if gems weren’t so much of a problem. The last thing I’ll say is I really wish there were more lgbt stories. The stories are all really great and there’s so many to choose from but it is really disappointing not to be able to play a story that represents you. I hope they will add more lgbt stories because it’s definitely lacking. All that aside it’s a great game, it’s so fun to read a story but also be able to make your own little choices here and there. I would definitely recommend it but do wish the downsides I talked about would be improved.
Wish the app makers would consider their readers value more seriously!!! The choices that cost gems for one are extremely high costing and not to mention within one single chapter the amount of times they want you to make that costly choice is ridiculous then on top of it clothing and hair that’s very high priced ...30 gems??? That’s straight ridiculous. The free choice of clothing is always something stupid like baggy sweats or overalls or baggy dirty clothing but yet in the story they will claim it’s a dress it’s stupid if the story says a dress then make the clothing fit the description and that stuff should be free seeing how it’s wrote about! The visual should match the description or else what’s the dang point?? We want attractive characters and to see what the story is saying so it makes sense!! Not to mention we barely get any videos an with it one single gem when everything is always like 17-30 gems!!! To even purchase gems you would need more than $100 to be able to choose the choices you want per chapter! Now that’s ridiculous and highway robbery these people only seem to care about taking money from people I swear then they don’t have many decent ways for you to earn things they also need to speed up the stars tree cause that’s also ridiculous! If you want a better app check out chapters they give way more free gems and multiple per video and have many other ways to earn gems and have better free stuff
Right now, a lot of these games are being pandered to young audiences, but as a 19 year old, I found this one to be the most enjoyable. While it didn't have as many customization options for your character as other apps of the genre might, it was because the app and each story within it offer a unique and detailed artistic style in its depiction of the story. One time, I even enjoyed a story so much that I reached out to the author and engaged with her, she was extremely sweet and happy to hear from me. After asking her about how she got involved, I learned that the company is not just a room of mediocre become-rich-fast type “writers” throwing ideas at a wall of cliche romances to see what sticks; instead, the company reaches out to real authors whose books and stories interested them, and continue to involve the author throughout the whole creative process of turning it into an interactive experience. Game has some flaws and bugs, and can appear to have some more “cash-grab” types of dilemmas, and not all stories will be prestige quality— some people refer to these stories as good for farming diamonds to spend on their personal favorite stories. The community is great, and the star system (which replaces the usual ‘ticket’ system in these types of games) works phenomenally and gets better the more you use it, and is far more user-friendly (or rather “so intrigued that I need to read more” reader-friendly) than ANY other of the apps. Would and have recommended to my friends who enjoy novels and stories, whether that’s paperback, hardcover, digital, or wattpad!
