MR PORTER: Shop men’s fashion

I got a random ad for a sale on Instagram, decided to try it out. Ended up loving the entire app, from the deals to the products available, filters, and especially- their customer service. I placed an order for a shoe, misinterpreting the women’s for the men’s size. So, when I called and ordered, they had no problem canceling it before it went to be shipped, and I received the other items I purchased. I’ve yet to see the refund, but I look forward to using this app more. Thank you!

25 minutes on hold to reach a customer service rep. Then put me on hold (second time) to check about a 10% discount for the contents of my shopping bag which you emailed to me yesterday. Rep knew nothing about it. After another 12 minutes on what she described as a “brief hold” I finally hung up. Completed transaction on line because these were gifts that people had selected; the fact that each choose the same item was a coincidence as each wanted a cotton hoodie. Hardly a way to treat customers; especially those who are trying to complete a purchase (rep knew from the conversation that I was trying to complete the purchase). Certainly could have offered to call me back. Should consider using the system where you can leave your name and number, not lose your “place in line” and receive a return call. Will certainly effect my future use of Mr. Porter.

I don’t know what’s more fun:)... Watching my favorite streaming shows/movies or just perusing Mr. Porter!! The merchandise is truly intriguing and of the highest quality. Mr. Porter carries virtually every high end brand so it can sometimes take me hours to finish shopping or, sometimes, just browsing. The Gucci slip ons that were delivered to my hotel in NYC while I was vacationing from home in New Orleans and staying at the Langham Hotel (a truly magnificent hotel) proved invaluable as I followed every morning workout in the exercise area with time in the spa because I love to steam. Well, I surely had the best footwear there! Thanks, and your staff has been very helpful as I have had to return at least one item because sizing of clothes is sometimes difficult on the Internet because, obviously, one doesn’t have the opportunity to try on a garment. Also, your garments tend to run more towards a “skinny fit” which “look” I don’t really like as I’m a bit more “traditional,”not to mention that I’m not built that way. While I’m not overweight, I’m built, let’s say, “athletically,” and, accordingly, “skinny fit” and I are not compatible either by size or by my taste.
