Excellent passive play game

My only regret is that I didn’t realize MouseHunt had an app years ago. I played a long time ago on Facebook but stopped when I lost interest in Facebook as a whole. It is PASSIVE PLAY, so anyone looking for a game that you can be constantly busy on should look elsewhere. Yes, you sound the catch horn every 15 minutes, and do almost nothing in between. But I’ve still found many ways to get enjoyment even out of the wait time. Going various places, figuring out trap configurations, shouting to the blue yonder “that ***** mouse ate my cheese again!!” (Don’t actually recommend doing that in public actually.) It does sometimes get repetitive, but anyone getting bored with a certain task or area can switch to something else. There is an endless number of “goals” you can set for yourself to keep the overall game interesting. Highly recommend and I intend to stick around for a good long time!

Could be fun

It can be fun, except for the 15 minute wait between each catch. Been on the game for a couple days and it’s still 15 minutes. There’s absolutely nothing to do between the times but wait. Maybe buy a bit of cheese but that’s about it. Could be a lot less time. Also, it’s ridiculous how I buy the best trap I can, which catches most types I come in contact with, yet wait the 15min, just to have the same mouse walk away or not get caught. Really? So I waste 200gp cheese, and get nothing for that 15 minutes. Or the next. Or the next....... Had to lower rating. Continued play (4 days) has shown me that speed doesn’t get any better, navigating is impossible. I get notifications I get a free daily chest, yet, I look everywhere and cannot find it. It’s the worst navigable app I’ve ever seen. It’s really ridiculous how I’ve been catching low level mice with lower trap power repeatedly, then I upgrade everything, and use a higher bait (cheese), and yet, fail almost every time. Especially since the cheese I’m using is a special cheese you have to earn from a mission. So again, wasting my cheese, so I have to grind for more. I’ve been stuck on the same mission for 5 days because I cannot collect the other item I need to craft. I’m going to quit because this game has little to no enjoyment. It’s more of a job than a fun game.

Don’t bother

Finally deleting this game after trying to play it for over a month. You basically get about two minutes of game play a couple times a day due to the wait time between “hunts”. And by “hunt”, the game means waiting a full 15 minutes to check your trap to try to catch one mouse. Needless to say, game progression grinds to a halt when your trying to collect items based on randomly catching certain mice. I’ve been on the Mountain board for two weeks and haven’t even come close to hitting the objective. This also means that I haven’t even come close to unlocking even half of the game after a full month of play. It takes almost a week just to collect the items that will allow you to craft the cheese to catch the objective mouse. Then...nothing. You’ll also see some inconsistencies in how many attempts are made when your game is idle. The game supposedly tries to catch mice every 15 minutes when you’re away, but I’ll come back to the game after an 8 hour wait and only have 8 attempts. Should be at least 32 because of basic math. There’s nowhere near enough content to make this game worth your time. I can’t imagine the years of slogging to get to the point where you’ve opened up enough areas and trap components to make this game even remotely exciting. Oh yeah, and the bug where you login and try to hunt, and then the game deletes all your cheese and restarts is still an issue. I just lost 23 cheese and had zero idle attempts to show for any of it. That was basically the final straw. Wish I had the one hour of my life back that I spent playing this game over the last month.
