I am enjoying using your app with earphones, but I can’t hear loudly. I am born deaf and volume is very low even if I keep to maximum. I can hear sound louder like music system or vehicles sound. But the conversation with near and dear, people and friends, I can’t hear clearly. Can you please update with more volume or creating equaliser so that i can increase the volume to hear the conversation comfortably and smoother. Or any settings required in iPhone? If I buy AirPods which is wireless, will it works. Even live listen is also very low. I hv tried.
Everything about this listening amplifier is Fabulous .(when in a quiet room/place/theater) It has a range of appx 30feet with well modulated tonal clarity • • EXCEPT there is NO AMBIENT BACKGROUND NOISE CANCELLATION Built In or Available • • I am 74 yrs old, slowly grown very deaf over the last 10-15 yrs due to too many more years of Diabetes even under fairly good control • • The way the App works is, it hijacks the microphone and turns your mobile phone into an amplifier when you plug in some “really good quality” ear buds or ear phones • • I would have given this App 5 stars except for its inability to control the intensity of the background noise coming in • everything overlapping at the same rate (background/foreground/whatever) and at the same time,• it doesn’t matter where you are in a public place or a crowd it captures everything all at once and amplifies it to the point that it becomes unpleasant • still, it’s great for quiet places especially in the movies where the Hearing Devices loaned out to the guests are worse than inadequate for even those with mild hearing loss ...
The last time we went to a local planning board meeting we missed most of it because of hearing deficits. There was another meeting scheduled last night and on the off chance there was an app I checked out the app store and found MobileEars. We heard _everything_....even from the guy who had trouble getting close to his mic. Thank you !!!!
