Minuteful ‑ Kidney Test

I came across this test that I qualified for at no charge. I have one kidney so I really wanted to be sure of its condition and felt this was an excellent opportunity. The test arrived quickly. They even followed up with me. The test was super simple and very well organized. Honestly, it’s very impressive. I am very happy with the process and the detection of higher albumin has definitely prompted me to get with my doctor. I would highly recommend this test. Thank you.

At first I was a little apprehensive about doing this test, because I have several health issues. Then I realize that it’s important for me to take the initiative and make sure that I am aware of all of body functions. Thank you for taking the time to talk with me about this matter and for sending the test in the mail for comfort and privacy.

I read the steps a couple of days ago. It wanted my first urine from the day. The first time I wake up I usually am desperate to go and at least some goes into my pull-up so that wasn’t happening. This morning after I used the bathroom I went back to bed. When I woke up I didn’t feel I had to go…I hadn’t drank anything after being up the first time. I knew I was supposed to wash my hands before doing it. Fortunately I had read through the instructions and had an idea what was coming. I clicked into the app and started washing my hands…I finished washing my hands and the video was still going. Overall the video was helpful but I went from not needing to go to desperate before it was ready to let me take my sample. It would be better if the patient was told to read the instructions and watch the video before they are ready to preform the test because it takes too long for most people to hold a bladder before they can empty it.
