Mineswifter Lite (Minesweeper)

Please for the love of god just slightly increase the amount you can zoom out; in medium games you can zoom out perfectly to the point of 1 column missing on the left or right. That column being perfectly out of sight has ruined so many of my perfect streaks because I thought there were no more tiles in that direction.

I’ve played a few different versions of Mine Sweeper and this is probably the best. It’s so much more satisfying when you finish a game because you figure out the pattern instead of being on the lucky side of a 50/50. There are a couple of things that I wish it did better though. First, I like that it vibrates when I hold it to place a mine, that small haptic feedback is very important, but I don’t like that every time I tap on a square, even if it’s just to move around it vibrates. Also, this is small, but I wish it had a more classic Mine Sweeper color scheme option.Aside from those it is the best Mine Sweeper I’ve found.

Great UI and stats display that make this app a joy to play. There are also very light gamification elements that encourage no mistake games and lowering your average time which is just the right about of gamification for me. Often times it can be very overbearing and pointless but I think this app strikes a perfect balance for many of the elements it’s working with. Hats off guys such a perfect little app.
