MeChat - Interactive Stories

I’ve had this game on and off ever since it first came out and I was never able to get super into it. Well I just redownloaded it after not having it for about half a year or so, and I have to say that the updates that the developers have put has made the game ten times more better. It’s easier for me to get into the stories. I also appreciate that daily missions have been added as well the addition of profile customization. My only complaint about that, is I wish that there were more masculine options. Most of the accessories and hair choices are feminine which makes it hard to create a more masculine profile. I also wish that there were more face shapes and body types. Since I’ve only recently redownloaded this game I’m unsure if this is already possible, but it would be cool if the character gifts the Y/N any sort of accessories or clothing it can be added to your catalog of choices when building your profile. I also appreciate that fact that obtaining gems is a lot easier without having to spend money. If I remember correctly you used to only be able to gain them from watching two or so ads and getting either 3 or 5. With the addition of daily missions and double gems with either the purchase of premium or watching an ad after leveling up a characters interest, it’s easier to save up gems. If you’re a big fan of Mystic Messenger, this is right up your alley. The biggest plus on this is the amount of options for characters. This is practically a game with a countless days of game play.

I’m going to start this by saying that, to a degree, I enjoyed playing this, however I do have problems as well. For starters: I don’t know if it’s just my choices in selection, but I feel that everything is very fast-paced. Like with Ramona: you match, suddenly you’re told that your character is going to die, and then you’re dragged along with, basically the Grim Reaper, in a last attempt to postpone your own death. It’s all very. . . sudden. I feel that it would be better if, instead of relying on chat options that cost hard-to-earn gems, you had more free opportunities to actually build relationships. I also feel that the chatting in general is a bit bland, but that is most likely caused by the quick pacing. In addition, this game has the same problem that make games with the gem currency has as well: it gets very pricey over time, and the rewards do not make up for it. For example: you could spend thirteen gems to see a picture or hear a voice message so you can progress the relationship, but only get three back. You lose gems very quickly, and that is something that has driven me away from lots of games. However, I will say this: I love the art and character designs. For the matches, at least. The customization for your own character feels incredibly limited, and it’s honestly a bit disappointing when compared to all of the other designs. Overall, it’s flawed, but has potential to be a great dating sim. I do hope that it will improve over time.

The app is fun and interesting, but i think there should be other ways to get gems/more gems rather than buying. I watch an ad and can’t watch another for a good while, i get my daily 5 gems can’t til tomorrow. It’s fine but i think there should be other ways to collect gems, the items cost a lot of gems just to see. add on: now using the ad’s for gems won’t work, i’ve tried so many times. All it will do is load for barley a full second and it just won’t load what so ever, like i’ve said i’ve tried many times. nothing at all. edit: the game is a lot better but Martin Dixon and Brice Atkins both have a sad ending, it was a great story timeline but i can’t wait until the rest of his story is out. I still think we should get more gems or atleast some of the picture gem prices should go down a bit because 33 is a lot. other than that it’s still a great game ANOTHER EDIT: i think there should be more gems in some way because 5 every 6 hours is kinda frustrating, then there is the ad option for 3 gems every hour but it’s still not enough. i find a lot of interest in Noel Moulin and Niles Robinson, i suggest more people like Nile on the app, it’s a very interesting and dominating story. There’s like that switch moment but dominating, i love the whole thing of him being dominate then you taking control too. it’s so hot!!

I wasn’t not expected to get so addicted to this game, really started playing and a few hours went past 🥴 lemme start off listing the good , I love how everyone has a different story and isn’t so cliche, you get to have a deep connection with really anyone you choose to give your time too. Things can also get real spicy 😳 have you squirm a little. Now onto the things I feel can be worked on… The limited convo options.. you get two options but sometimes the options aren’t good unless you have gems and believe me I understand the reason for it but.. if you run out of gems the only option is to sound like a jerk… for example on a date with the character “Enzo” the options where to spend gems and express your gratitude or choose the free route and nag him and ruin the mood… basically if you don’t have enough your only choice is to sound like a brat. With gem choices it would be better to change the 2 options dialogue to 3. Same with being able to send a character a message, It would benefit to have different sets of messages , while some you have to purchase and some are free. The last thing is character customization, I can see why they didn’t … but if they could incorporate more options to really set yourself up and get express your own character story would really give this game a boost. Overall this is a game I will keep playing for the time being , I would recommend it to a friend.

i don’t really play these kinds of games a whole lot, but the one character that caught my attention with this one was izumi kai. i actually spent money on them because i’m actually genuinely interested in their character and their story LOL. i finished that character and am currently just leveling up the romance with other characters to get gems in hopes that i can use them on izumi. then i had a thought; what if you could replay all of the texts with the characters? there are periods where you have to either wait for the character to come back or you can spend gems to text them first, but what if you could replay all of the texts and dates you went on from the beginning up to the point you’re actually waiting on, just rewinding the story pretty much? i thought it would be a cool concept because i’ve played a few games like this one in the past, but they gave you the option to replay the chapters you’ve already played through. as for the texts, the ones you didn’t select could maybe be locked so nothing would change and you’d just get to replay the story! i liked izumi’s character a lot and i’d enjoy re-reading their texts again and again and for any future characters i get attached to, as if it was a movie. it would not only make me happy being able to reread the texts and go on the dates all over again, but i think it would also make the waiting periods less heartbreaking since we’d at least get to go through it again LOL. great game! i like it a lot, that’s all and thanks for reading :)
