Manet Music

I have only been using it for a day or so, but I like the layout and functionality so far. It doesn’t seem to pickup any of the artists from the library section, but if you search for the artist, they appear. I’m also not able to add songs to playlists. It does say it successfully added the songs, but doesn’t. I noticed that in between the end/beginning of songs, there’s occasionally a replay of the last two seconds of the previous song. At least for when only listening to downloaded songs. A few small bugs. Also, I wish I could download my full library from one button. The app does appear in car play! Excited to see what comes from this app Update: in latest version, the app has an issue transitioning between downloaded songs. It will freeze up for 10-30seconds.

This app is terrific. It’s the Apple Music app (but better?) for Jellyfin users. I like the icon, the UI, and on and on. And I’m frankly amazed they’ve got CarPlay support in here at all - but if I may nitpick this is the one feature that I personally would love to see get attention. I could make the same complaint about *most* CarPlay apps, but this one is real close to being awesome. What it needs first and foremost is album sorting in the downloads section. Works wonderfully well in the app itself. On CarPlay? It’s just a list of songs. Obviously, if you have more than one album downloaded this gets real cumbersome to navigate real quick. So, I will cross my fingers that this gets a little polish sometime in 2025 and will come back to giddily give a 5 star review. Keep up the good work!

This is a beautifully done app. It has all the things that give it that iTunes/Swift native app look and it has pretty much all the features you would want from an app like this- except just 3 small things that I would LOVE to see. The first thing is small but allowing you to add another server for specifically when you’re off wifi would be very nice to see. I haven’t seen that in a lot of other apps so that would make this a really good one, especially if you made it like a “Manet+”. Secondly I would absolutely love to see the little A-Z sliders that you can use on the actual iTunes/Music app (the one on the right side of the albums page) as it makes it easier to go through your library. Finally I would just love to see someone made specially for when you rotate your phone or just support for it as that would be greatly appreciated. Overall great app though and worth its subscription for the mac version!
