Edit: This issue has since been resolved Generally, I use this app for its Mac app. It’s a bit buggy but still is the best option out there. Notably, the sidebar tends to get in a wonky state quite often which can be fixed by closing and reopening. I’d also love to see the ability to transcode only when on cellular. In other words, a “original quality” option for wifi I’m receiving a bug on login: “The data could not be read because it isn’t in the correct format.” My url is a .casa TLD and is https if that helps any. I’m also on the latest version of Jellyfin server.
As someone who's been using the FinAmp beta for a solid minute, this feels like a great coat of paint. This app fits near seamlessly into iOS26. The only reason why I didn't rate this higher is two issues: downloads and a UI issue. There's an offline mode, which goes off of what's cached, but that's not much. If there was a way to download songs, akin to what Manet, Finamp, and AmpFin does, I'd make the full swap. The other issue is UI. It assumes you use a font that is 100% size or more. I use 80%, so the songs are distant on the song lists. Not a major issue, but it's prominent. If those two get fixed, I'd make the full swap in a heartbeat, especially with the iPadOS UI.
Finally I have found a player that just works right out of the box. I have tried pretty much every app on the App Store with one issue or another from music stopping with screen sleep, intermittent playback errors, library, playlist, or shuffle not working correctly. 2 weeks of trying different apps and it seems I’ve finally found one that works really well.
