Luxury Escapes: Travel Deals

I wasted a precious Saturday morning searching for the perfect hotel for my upcoming vacation. After carefully comparing numerous apps and offers, I finally decided on a Luxury Escapes deal. I booked the room, my credit card was charged, and I was excited to confirm the reservation directly with the hotel. That's when the nightmare began. The hotel had no record of my booking. Upon contacting Luxury Escapes customer service, I was informed that the room I had booked was no longer available due to a "computer glitch." The only remaining options were significantly more expensive suites, a price difference I believe Luxury Escapes should have covered as compensation for their error. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and it wasted a significant amount of my time.

I used to dislike the old interface - the video autostarts were annoying to say the least but it was easier to navigate. Now the left hand NAV is so annoying. If I am just looking for a particular type of holiday be it by location or by price or by length of stay it is hard to find. And why the reduction in the number of photos - it means I have to go to another website to check out any location I am interested in.
