LTS Connect

Did something change a couple of weeks ago? I monitor 9 cameras on my ipad. I used to be able to change camera positions on my screen by putting my finger on an image and then dragging it to another position. Now I can only do that by holding my cursor on an image and dragging it to a different position. Also in the past all my images stayed on the screen unless I closed the LTS App. Now the App closes after a while by itself, and then when I open the App none of the images are in the same place as they were when it closed. I hope this can be resolved soon if it’s related to some changes that happened recently.

We have several buildings, all have LTS cameras. It’s about 100 cameras between all of them so far. The cameras have been handling the outdoors well, and only a few cameras have been defective within 1-2 years of install (ironically they were installed indoors) and we had to change them out. The rest we upgraded by choice (over the years from 2’s to 4’s, and then to 8’s etc..). The video and sound quality from the 8’s is amazing. We have a great security company that has run all the wires and they easily change out the cameras when we upgrade. So why the 1 star? Because any time there’s an incident, I can never playback from my iPhone. Can you imagine the stress when the alarms go off in the middle of the night and I have to drive an hour to the property? In 2024 it should at least work. (I have 1 gig internet at home so it’s not the bandwidth, and I’ve tried viewing playback from the app from many different locations and still suffer the same issue). I can watch live feed .. just not playback. If the app lets me playback, let’s say an incident happened at 3am, maybe I can playback at midnight or 1am.. but not the time I need.. If I scroll to the times I need say 3:05am, the video just endlessly buffers with dumb unavailable error messages.. it is SO frustrating.. do I dispatch police? Do I place myself in danger by going there? Do I lose a night’s sleep driving an hour to and from the building? All because it might be serious or it could be a bird setting off the motion sensors.. So we’re currently constructing a new building, and I’m going to use whichever cameras have an iPhone app that works best. Then once those cameras are proven to work, I’ll be changing out and selling all my LTS cameras. ETA of completion is August 2024, if this LTS app starts to work before then, I’ll remove this 1 Star review and stay with LTS.

I cannot get playback to stop at a particular time. When I scroll the playback ribbon and get to a time I want to view, I let go and the playback ribbon snaps to a different time. I try several times to stop at a particular time and it just will not stay on that time. It could snap to an hour or more earlier even if there are many video clips in between. This is why I gave only 3 stars. I would also like the ability to fast forward through the playback timeline, rather than keep trying to stop where I think I want to watch only to find out I went past it or too early. Fast forward at maybe double time or triple time would give me the ability to watch until I see what I’m looking for. If you could solve both issues I could change my rating to 5 stars.
