Linguado

I just started using Linguado, so far it’s a home run for me, I have met amazing people who I wouldn’t be able to meet around the world, sharing our love for languages and learning each other culture, and along the way becoming friends. Hopefully this app stay for the long run would love to see it grow in the future, I haven’t had an issue using it so far, the search has been helpful in detailing my search and also a key point, I want to point out….(I love the text bar where you are able to translate your message to person language not only that helps to communicate but you also are learning to write in another language) Awesome 👏. Hopefully, they bring back calling to keep it safe to meet other linguados!

What an amazing app!! I just started using it and have already brushed up on my conversational French and starting learning Portuguese - all for free and the best part is that I am meeting people from around the world interested in sharing their language and learning mine. The app itself is intuitive, smooth, and works flawlessly. Someone clearly put some thought and time into this concept. Download before they start charging!!

I have been using this app for more than a month and so far, so good. I live abroad year round so having an app like this is pivotal. I can connect with people around the world, share our culture, learn new languages, and most importantly, make new friends. I am fortunate to be able to travel and live in different countries but I usually never know anyone in the places I live. This app is helping me so much to have friends before I even get there, a big help for an introvert like me. Yes, there are creeps on this app. Yes, there are people who respond with one word replies. But if you filter those people out, you can have some really fun, interesting and sometimes profound conversations with incredible people you would’ve never had a chance to meet otherwise. Use technology with a purpose.
