Learn to Talk: First Words

This isn't a fun game, and it's not a learning experience with any integrity. The vocabulary choices are bizarre - some simple words like "boom," but then "cement mixer," "mobile crane," "convertible," "motorcycle weaves." Who puts "weaves" in a vocab app for 3-year-olds? Good reading apps give kids control over the phonemes - letting them drag to scrub audio, highlight words as they go. This has none of that. The spoken text screens are weakly thought through. My preschooler would just randomly swipe for a bit and cast it away. I couldn't find any game element at all. Disappointing.

My 2 year old daughter loves the different flash cards and the app is very easy to use. She is loving the different views & noises while going through her car phase! A great app that is nice to have on the go for your kid!

My 7 month old is loving this app. It’s never too early to play & interact with your babies and this app makes it so easy to do so. It’s fun to watch her learn so much and engage with the App and she’s starting to learn some new sounds and words.
