I have been playing this for a couple weeks now and it is a blast! I have a question about the premium version which I hope the devs can answer. I purchased the premium version of this game to support the developers, and as a bonus I thought continuing in a dungeon when dying would be ad-free, but I still have to watch an advertisement to revive. Is this a bug with premium or was I misinformed about the no more ads? Thank you!
While adorable and evidently made with love, the game does not feel whole. You can tame monsters, but you can't do anything with them. There is no real sense of reward after killing a boss— you simply unlock the next area. Playing the game without purchasing items to help you makes the experience highly difficult, and overall unsatisfying, since, as previously mentioned, there is no "reward". The dungeons, which are meant to be "ever-changing", feel exactly the same each time you go through them. I purchased a few of the add-on features (no ads, another character & hat pack, etc.) because I do truly see & love the effort being put into this game. The art style is adorable, and the music is beautiful— the game just isn't finished. I hope that the creators keep showing love to this game, because I think it can end up as one of the best mobile dungeon-crawlers there is.
This game is amazing, I love all of its qualities the artistic style is fantastic. I think it’s often overlooked the effort put in to actually change the appearance of weapons, and shields when the character equips a different type. Instead of simply buffing up the stats there’s artwork for each type of equipment. The characters look great, the dungeons pace very well, it’s reminiscent of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon from the GBA, or Pixel Dungeon from the App Store, both stellar games. You have a lifelong supporter in me, it is definitely worth it to purchase the ad-free version, this game is worth more than it’s sold for. The musical direction is perfect for each stage, everything works so well in composition with one and other. The fact that it’s also played in regular mode, not landscape allows for quick and easy access to progress whenever and wherever you have the time to. Can’t wait to see what comes !
