Kura Sushi Rewards

Recently Kura switched from a queue based reservation system to a pick your reservation time system. This is good on paper but in practice I end up not getting seated for 30minutes to an hour after my reservation time. With the old system, I could see an estimate of how long it would take to get a seat, and plan to arrive according to that. With the new system, I need to be there at my reservation time, and then potentially wait 30 or more minutes for a table to open up. It leads to a lot more people waiting in the lobby area, when they could be shopping elsewhere. Now people just have to wait at the restaurant well past their reservation time. I love Kura, but this new reservation system makes it a lot more frustrating to dine in! 1 star to the app for changing the system to this.

I’ve been to an establishment kind of like this in Tyson‘s corner mall in Virginia when I saw this Restaurant was coming to Polaris I was super excited and finally had a chance to get there today. My friend and I had a great experience. The food was delicious. The service & explanations of how it all worked was so helpful. I can’t wait to go back

It’s only my second time there, but I feel right at home. The servers are extremely nice and helpful. Our servers were Mariz and Yeilanis she was so happy and loving her job and it showed. We tried different things than last time and the fresh crab sushi plates were delicious and I can’t believe I didn’t see them last time I was there. We went in the middle of Summer and maybe a different menu for the Fall I tried all new things. The crispy squid was so tasty and I loved the sauce on these, and the texture was so amazing not too chewy just right. I tried the the crab meat sushi wrapped in seaweed it was good and loaded with crab meat. Free refills for the lemonade which was perfectly sweet and tangy. I’m just in Love with the little robot that brings your drinks he’s even sweet! My favorite thing was, after the like The crab plates was the dessert. I wish I took a picture it was that delish. A small bowl of ice cream with a big baked pastry fish, but inside was red beans and sauce. It was enough for two people who just shared 15 plates of food. The plates are just like Tapas but enough to share and try new stuff. I’m already planning my next trip back. It’s so convenient to get to in South Bay right across from Olive Garden, in Dorchester. We will be back!
