I like the idea, has a very “Two Dots” feel to it, but the number of ways that you can use to connect cards makes it unnecessarily complicated, at least for my tastes. You can connect descending cards, same suit, equal, and diagonal, which ends up just making dissecting the puzzle layout that much more daunting. But, if you are looking for more of a challenge it could be great, depending on your preference, it all functions fine, expect maybe the swipe-connect is a little finicky (new feature).
King’s Path is a great game that combines strategy and luck in discrete bite-sized sessions that each last only as long as a deck of cards. I greatly appreciate the (no) data collection policy and was happy to pay for the ad-free version as a result. I’ve been playing for a while but still haven’t totally figured out how the scoring mechanism works with respect to time bonuses and what drives the appearance of gold cards. It would be nice if there was a basic guide to those aspects of the game but i can’t find one anywhere. Thanks!
The developer did everything right here. It’s flawless. This is really fun to play. And I love that it’s as challenging or relaxing as you want it to be. You can clear every card in a deck if you really want to, or you can clear as many cards as you can and then score it and move to another deck. I love the different play options too. It’s perfect for short sessions, but you want to keep playing. I also appreciate the super fair monetizing. I immediately paid the fair price to remove ads and support the developer. This is now my favorite solitaire card game ever. Thank you developer!
