King Rabbit - Puzzle

This game got me through covid 2020. I remember my whole world was shut down, but I had this game, King Rabbit, which I could channel my time and energy when everything felt hopeless. What makes King Rabbit special is not only is it an action and puzzle game, but it is very creative as you can make your own levels that other people can play. I started cranking out levels under MaroonCow and developed a bit of a following, so even though I was isolated at home, I still felt very connected. Now I’m revisiting it, 4 years later, and am still delighted by it. There’s something very empowering and fun to make your own levels and to interact with other peoples as well, which makes the game addicting in the best possible way.

I used to play the original version of this game back in 2019, and it was astounding how many levels there were and how complex some of them were. There were some levels that took more than an hour to solve (while collecting all the coins and gems), there were lots of hidden paths to find, and the levels just went on and on… and on and on and on. And they were all free! I’m disappointed to find that upon re-downloading the game, there are only 60 free levels, and almost all of them feel like “beginner” levels that are so simple most of them can be solved perfectly in one attempt in less than a minute. Not only that, but even if I wanted to pay for the additional content, I’d spend $4 and only get 120 more levels (while in the previous version there were practically an unlimited number of free levels). Creators, if you’re reading this, I’m very appreciative of the incredible game you originally made, but this new version is trash in comparison. I know sometimes your hands are tied as developers, but I hope you’ll consider bringing back the old game.

This puzzle game is were it’s at! I have three points I want to say in this review. 1) This game is an amazing way to have fun while getting smarter. This game will boost your IQ levels! 2) The community option is incredible! You can play and create your own games FOR FREE!!! So if you are like me, and are incredibly creative you can express yourself in amazing levels!!! And you can even watch your fellow community members play your levels! However I do have to warn you: if you do make a game, the first three that you make are free. Now, when I say that you have to pay, it’s now with real money, it’s within game currency that you can collect by playing in the community. 3) There are in app purchases, but you can play the game without needing to buy a single thing! However, if you did decide to use your real money you could buy all kinds of things like: new skins (we’ll get to that in a moment), extra rewards, and hints. Those are my main things, but there are still a couple of not as important things that I wanna say. If your like me, than you love cute things, so along with all of the other great things about this app, the main character is an adorable and fluffy bunny rabbit!!! 🐇🐇🐇 If you love solving puzzles and making puzzles for others than this is a MUST GET GAME!!! I highly recommend getting KING RABBIT! This is the best (and cutest) puzzle/action game I have ever played!!! Hey wait, did I say action? Yes, I did! Not only are there amazing puzzles, but there are also incredible action levels to play as well! If you watched the video, then you’ll know what I mean. 😉 Anyway, I want to thank the creators of KING RABBIT, RareSloth LLC, for making a game that so many people (including me) have and will continue to enjoy playing for many years!!! And remember: You can solve any puzzle!
