A little issue…

This is my second review by the way. This app was extremely helpful! For the first 2 weeks. Then I kinda dropped out of the game and got really bored and my mom told me I needed to get interested in it again because she spent 90 dollars for a subscription. Anyways, I got back into it but I realized something. HOW IN THE WORLD DO I GO FROM 100 COINS TO 0 FROM ME CONSTANTLY FEEDING MY DOTTER? I had 100 coins. I’m not lying. Now I got 0. Every time I would talk to my dotter, the end of their sentence would be: “Oh, I’m hungry! Please just a little nibble?” But guess what? I don’t have any coins to buy food for you because I literally just bought 6 fruits and fed them all to you and now you’re complaining again. It’s really frustrating and I’ll never the reward I would’ve gotten because I’m always bankrupt. And the fact that they even shut down afterwards is aggravating because I have no choice but to feed them! Please try and fix this problem and make them only need breakfast, lunch and dinner and not a fruit every minute. I understand it keeps us on the app more; but we don’t want to be on the app because of that hunger problem. It’s like a parent watching their kids take their credit card and go to Sephora and when they come back home the parents check their credit card and they see their child has spent 300 dollars worth of lipgloss. I know that scenario may seem very specific, but that’s exactly how I feel. So PLEASE OH PLEASE… fix it. - Love, Mahbirk<3

Thankful for Joon! Less arguing, more independence. :)

Guys, I thought the reviews were probably exaggerated, but it's seriously a life changer for my kids that hate chores! | have 3 kids from 4-9 and We did the free trial for a week to see how it did. I'm now on the monthly plan and we LOVE IT! They were asking me for more chores so they can get more points for their avatar! It doesn't have to be chores either, you can put in brushing teeth, or playing outside without fighting, reading a book before bed, whatever works for your family! It has taken the begging and reminding out of chores, and now they can get up and do what needs to be done by looking at the list!My favorite thing is that it will read the list to the kids that can't read yet! It has a little icon they can click, so they don't have to ask a grown up to read it for them.My 4 year old does his daily tasks 100% on his own and loves it! The older ones love it too. They have their own devices they can do their list on, instead of having to log in on my phone. You can use tablets or phones and it's so easy once you get the hang of it. Be patient and try for the whole week, they'll be asking you to do it by the time a few days have passed.--I highly recommend the "review task" feature, where they have to take a picture and you approve it.We've had the cutest, and funniest pictures to prove they did their task. You can set rewards, or you can up the coins for certain things they worked hard on!**Turn notifications on, so you don't have them waiting for approval and coins. It's easy to approve!Honestly.. It has really help improve the flow of our home, and I'm so thankful for Joon! They get to be more independent and I can focus on things that I need to get done. While giving them lots of praise for what they get done! 🩷

Child behavior did a total 180!

I was a little reluctant to “gamify” our lives, especially because we limit tv and game time, but it’s a remarkable change so far. I have adhd and it’s pretty likely that one or both of my sons have it (ages 5 and 8), and with our younger one it was getting really frustrating with even basic stuff like getting dressed being a huge struggle. Since I introduced the game it is like night and day. He still falters every once in a while but it’s really improved his behavior and in turn our home lives. My older son who is usually pretty good with chores loves the game aspect (agree that they could keep developing that) and it has helped motivate him with more challenging tasks like practicing piano. I agree with another adhd parent who said it’s helpful for us because I don’t have to make up my whole system for chores, rewards, etc. I hope they come up with more games - I think academic games like word puzzles could be a fun option! Parents who are struggling with their kids getting into routines and structure should definitely check this app out!
