Update: they fixed the issue! I'm leaving my comment here to show how amazing this team is that they responded and took care of the problems in the game; we're back to being "a perfect iPhone game." Previous comment: This game is a real gem, but recent changes to the coding of the game have given the game sound. Normally that wouldn't be an issue, I would just mute the sounds so I can continue to listen to other things on my phone while playing. However, the way it's been coded causes all sounds to be shut off from any other apps in use every time you make a move in the game. I've loved playing this game, but will be rendered unable to play it until changes have been made to allow me to listen to outside music or books while playing. I'll just play the steam game instead. I hope one of the developers reads this and makes the necessary coding changes to make this game work for my needs, and probably the needs of many other players. Please liberate my sounds! If you do, I'll change my review to 5 stars!

Hi! I really like your game. I have some ethical concerns based on its clear theft of mechanics and assets from balatro, but I think that the effort you’ve put in to recreate the game is really impressive and the fact you’re continuing to improve the game’s assets and gameplay. Your most recent update really improved the II and I’m really glad you’re taking the time to make small little improvements like that! This is a minor bug, but previous to this update I was able to play a video or music in the background while playing the game. I’m a student, so in particular I liked to listen to my lectures while playing. However, since the update whenever I launch the game it automatically pauses the background video. I can restart the video, but any interaction with the UI (selecting cards to play, reading joker/tarot/energy/pack details, opening the settings menu, &c.) will pause the background input again. It has actually really decreased the amount of time I’m willing to put into the game. It would be nice if background/pop-up players could be reenabled. Or! Maybe it could be made into a setting option so people who play for love of the game can enjoy the music and effects you worked on and people like me who enjoy the game for stimulus while doing other activities like studying can choose to turn the background player on so we could play and listen to other things at the same time.

If u buy a tarot pack and already have a tarot card and try to use the tarot card you had before on the playing cards it disappears and doesn’t do anything. Instead of the steel joker going up by .25 it goes up by 1 ( 1 steel card would be x1 and having 2 steel cards would be x2 instead of x1.5 so you would have to get 6 steel cards before it goes to x3) also instead of multiplying it adds. so it will add 2 mult instead of multiplying 2 by whatever the mult is (ex: 50x5 it’ll add it so it would be 50x7 if it multiplied it would be 50x10). Noticed that on the ante book “hook” discard 2 cards from your hand after each hand is played it takes away from your discards when you play so if y have 3/4 n you play a hand it goes down to 2/4 instead of staying at 3/4 an just discarding 2 randoms ones. EDIT: when a joker becomes negative if it has any foil, holographic, or polychrome it takes it off of the joker instead of being negative and polychrome/foil, etc. //Maybe with the wheel instead of having it target any joker have it target ones that don’t already have a negative/holo/foil/poly
