I can’t fault the app’s functionality; the latency is very minimal and I haven’t had any problems using it. But I’ve gotten bored of tuning in to streams because there’s not enough features! Streamers can’t share their screen, add images and audio, or even change their background, so of course there’s a hard limit to the range of entertainment they can provide. I’d be much more interested in IRIAM if streamers were able to play games or make art on screen. This said, IRIAM’s strength is that every streamer’s chat only ever has a few people, so you may like it if you wish you could interact one on one with streamers. (With no moderators to help streamers, however, I’ve witnessed a few awkward situations in streams though.)

I have really wanted to give this app a try for my friends, but besides being slow and having a poor UI imo, it has crashed several times during use. In addition, this most recent time it wouldn’t even start up. I tried restarting it, restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling, but all to no avail. Given I only installed it for one person, and it was horrible to use either way. UI is unintuitive, especially when it comes to entering anything into a text field. I will not be reinstalling, and I hope they find a better platform.

I’ve been using IRIAM since the day it launched in the US and every second of it has been absolutely incredible. The people on the app, the staff, the community around it has all been amazing. I can’t wait to see where it goes!!
