FOX Carolina First Alert Wx

A recent update made the maps significantly worse. You used to be able to customize your default view with whatever you wanted to see. Now they give you a bunch of presets that you can’t customize or remove and if you want what you used to have you have to create a new map, save it, and it gets buried in a corner. Why they made the maps worse, and for no reason, is beyond me. But I’m about to switch to the other station’s app at this point. I used to love this app, it was perfect. But the map change is inexcusable. I’m talking a fireable offense for whoever green lit this change.

Thank you FOX for doing First Alerts. We would love and appreciate to hear more of current weather forecasting for WNC. Since FOX Carolina’s is out of the Greenville area, more of the weather forecasting seems to be more focused on that region. Can’t there be an equal split in weather forecasts and conditions?

The news is so serious so it’s great to see the anchors interact with each other and have fun while delivering the news and weather in a professional manner. I’m from Cleveland Ohio where our channel 3 News anchors are professional and fun. I still have the app on my phone to tune in. Jackie
