PhotoFast ONE

I downloaded this application onto my iPhone 8 Plus, which is the companion software to the PhotoFast 4KiReader Flash Memory Card Reader Product Capacity: 256 Model. I have not been able to use these products on my iPhone 8 plus because I keep getting the error message: “This iPhone’s power output is unstable, writing to the external memory has been disabled to prevent damage to the file system” therefore I am unable to store data to the memory cards. I’ve reported this to the company 5 time since I’ve discovered this with absolutely no indication that they are aware of this or looking into it. I contacted Apple and they say there is nothing wrong with my iPhone 8 Plus. I also tried these on 4 other friends iPhone 8 plus phones and they all get the same error message.

If you decide to use the external drive security you must enter your personal contact information to be able to retrieve your password. The problem is there is no way to change or reset this information. The only way to contact anyone for help is to file a bug report which I have done many times on this problem. No one ever replies back and after 8 updates in the past 5 months the problem has not been fixed. This company is not responsive to your problems and appears not to care. The app works well but it has bugs which I have reported for this version 1.7.9 and the previous version 1.7.8, 1.7.6, 1.7.5, 1.7.4, 1.7.3, and 1.7.2; which no one has contacted me about or fixed. When going to their website there is no way to get technical support. The only way to contact them is by using the bug report and then it is like talking to the wall, they never reply.

Very easy to setup and they are regularly updating the app which says to me that they believe in the product. I have a 32gb EVO. I downloaded the ONE app, plugged it into my iphone and the app walked me through a brief guided tutorial. I'm initially just using this to watch about a TB of mp4/avi movies. The other reviewer that said it changes the date of when the photo or movie was transferred, it transfers with original date onto the external drive, however if you transfer the files off the external drive and onto the app itself then it will change it to today's date. The other in-app issue is it doesn't allow you to have files within a file, but you can have as many files within files on the external drive. The app is pretty impressive. It's quite comprehensive. Way beyond my expectations thus far. Will update this review in a few weeks or so.
