My son has been enrolled in PublicPartnership for 10+ wks now. So far it has been a complete nightmare trying to get paid for time submitted whether it be electronically submitted or faxed in. Their left hand has absolutely no clue what the right hand is doing. Every pay period has a new problem as to why my submitted time can not be approved. Unfortunately I am not allowed to talk to the same agent twice to get problems resolved. I feel as though it may be setup this way so we will get disgusted with the constant problems and just give up. They make you jump through hoops to get a few hrs a wk at almost minimum wages to take care of your handicapped son or daughter. June 1,2025- The Time for Care app has been greatly improved, thank you. Much easier to navigate. We as care givers truly appreciate the ease of being able to enter our hours
I’ve been using this app for almost 3 years. With every update, another glitch reveals itself. While it is more visually appealing, most of the time it’s in offline mode and I have to keep reconnecting. I’ve had several other issues that were more annoying than anything. With this latest update, if you forget to turn off the timer after 12am, you can’t choose the day before so you either have to delete that particular clock-in or it will just sit in processing. Another issue is with completed clock-in/out deleting themselves. Last week I had 3 days of clock-in just disappear. I had to add them back in manually 2 times before they stayed. The most annoying issue is the stop timer message. Every day when I log in I get the message that the timer was stopped because it went over 24 hours. I thought I was just forgetting to clock out, which I’ve done a lot, but since this last update with missing hours I am more diligent with my time. After I get past the stop timer message, it shows a pending time for that particular day, BUT it also shows all the clock ins I actually put in for the day also. How can I have my correct hours for the day but also left it running for 24 hours. I appreciate it looking nice, but an actual correct way to track my time is more appreciated. If the app doesn’t work, we don’t get paid and that’s not fair.
While I understand the point of this app and it’s use, the execution of it lacks. My first issue is the fact that after having it for about two months and that time I have had the app not work for almost 2 weeks straight. No one got back to me for over a week and I couldn’t use the portal website to fix the error the app made. Then in the last week of writing this review I had two days, 2!!!, where the app would not login. It just kept thinking for five minutes then crashed. This app also has it where I cannot reset my password when they require me to reset my password every 2-3 months. I could go through and go for I have forgotten my password which has me go through everything to redo it or I have to wait and log onto the portal and reset my password there which would mean that I would be after my clock hours and the clock timer for that client is still running. This does not help me at all in fact it’s very frustrating. There needs to be a reminder from the app to reset password within 3-5 days before it becomes a have to. The only thing that I’ve encountered with this app is frustration and stress. So while I’m glad that “bean counters” running everything might feel a little less stressed out with poor budgeting skills I’m sorry but I am not one of them. This app has put so much stress on my job it’s not helpful or funny because guess what, life happens and I can’t control traffic or if a emergency happens! Care providing deals with people not robots stuck in a perfect box. Any app where it has this much breakdowns and bad reviews should be reevaluated nor should it be out of beta. At all! Fix the app the right way or we shouldn’t have to use it.
