As a high school senior, getting ready to start a new chapter in my educational career I recently began to tackle one of the biggest and most important questions on the minds of most students my age - "How am I going to pay for college?" The second most important question on my mind was, " What steps should I take now to begin networking and connecting with students and professionals throughout the country and around the world with similar interests, career aspirations and collaborative projects on deck?" In my case, this includes filmmaking, screen-writing, casting, directing, producing, cinematography, editing, and sound design. When I stumbled upon the #Scholarship Now challenge and navigated throughout the Goodwall app, I found the answer the two of the most important questions on my list. I used the Goodwall app to set up my profile and to apply for the #Scholarship Now challenge. I am so honored and grateful to have won this month's challenge (October 2022) - I'm still in shock and trying to process this incredible news. I found the app to be super easy and fun to use during the application process, and as this month's winner, I can attest to the fact that the Goodwall App and #Scholarship Now challenge are legitimate and that they work. I am so grateful to everyone working behind the scenes at Goodwall, the #Scholarship Now challenge and Fastweb for truly caring about students and helping us find ways to pay for our college tuition. I have to also say, that as a full-time student and part-time working professional in the entertainment-film industry, I am so excited to use the Goodwall platform to connect and network with students and professionals around the world who share my interests, have similar career goals, and may be interested in collaborating on projects.
