Frequency: Healing Sounds

I’ve been paying for this app for 2 years and it works so well for me I might start researching why it works so well (I’m a musicologist). That being said, it drives me bananas that some of the tracks have recorded affirmations in them and there’s no way to turn the voice off. For example, the “concentration” frequency is useless because every time I finally start focusing, my concentration is broken by some lady interrupting with “total concentration is mine”, “I have the power to focus my concentration at will”, etc. I’m sure these are great subliminal messages but they literally (and consistently) interrupt my focus…

UPDATED FROM 1 to 5 STARS: For anyone with issue's related to the App shutting off when you turn the screen off or when your iPhone goes to sleep, the issue is easily corrected by turning "Background App Refresh" on in your settings for that App. You may have to redo the settings after an iPhone system update. Mine worked fine for a long time, then it didn't. I found out that one of the updates turned off the "Background App Refresh" setting which in turn shuts the App off when my phone went into sleep mode. This is so incredibly frustrating that I'm saving the fix in this review so I'll find it the next time I come to complain that it's not working. I hope this helps anyone with the same issue. Have a great life! PREVIOUS ONE STAR REVIEW: I can’t get 10 minutes before it crashes. This used to be my favorite app, but I am so frustrated with it right now. I play it at night go to sleep and it will shut off within 10 to 20 minutes and it’s supposed to play for a minimum of 40 minutes plus I have it on repeat and I have a timer set for 10 hours. It doesn’t work. I paid for a year and wish I hadn’t. If this doesn’t get fixed soon, I’m not renewing.

I’m somewhat knew to frequency sound therapy and I’ve had this app for awhile. I kinda forgot about it, and I noticed I had multiple notifications, so opened it back up today. WOW, there have been a lot of improvements! I’m dealing with some serious health issues, and chronic pain, and the pain relief sounds (although a bit annoying without any music behind it) really, really helps!!! I was reviewing the subscription pricing, and it is beyond confusing. I wish you would explain the different “PRO” levels, and why is there a difference in price? Please explain with a brief explanation so that users like me can figure out what is the difference, and if one is better for each of us. Keep up the great work, and keep improving!!! I can’t wait to see what is next!
