Convo: laugh, debate, spiral

I'm so happy with my experience on this app! I think it's a really great way to build relationships with people and have conversations that matter! I love that I get to connect with people from different parts of the country and continue building a relationship with them after the initial group call! Cool concept and much needed in a world that can feel a but isolating these days.

I recently joined Convo and was super pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. The user interface is very easy to navigate for those who may not be as tech savvy. Everyone I’ve met has been really genuine and kind so far. It is such a welcome break from the typical social media doomscrolling and I look forward to the nightly quick chats with potential new friends. You should definitely give Convo a try if you enjoy meeting new people and welcome new perspectives on interesting topics. I can’t wait to see how this app evolves over time.

I absolutely love Kinship! Ever since my first session, it has become a regular part of most of my days. Topics are always thoughtful, the community is so supportive, and I always leave each session feeling better than I came in. My life is noticeably better because this community exists! I have so many new friends that I look forward to connecting with frequently and I’ve learned so many new tools to help me grow in my relationship with myself and those around me. My only negative feedback is that the app is not as good as the web experience. I use both on my phone, but as clean as the app looks, its performance still lags behind the website. The part that affects me the most is that the reactions during sessions are a completely different set on the app than they are on the site. Not only do they fail to work the vast majority of the time, I can barely see other people‘s reactions during sessions as well. Reactions are such a critical part of the user experience and a crucial way to communicate, especially if you cannot have your camera on for some reason. Please fix this, it has been a problem for several weeks now and that fix alone would earn your app a five star review from me.
