Guild Mortgage

I’ll admit, there were some issues at first, but this app makes it SO EASY to work with Guild Mortgage. Application was easy and I can manage everything in one spot, even after closing.

This app has some helpful information about my mortgage but has some flaws that are so frustrating. The fact that I’ve called and my wife has called to try to fix the problems is beyond frustrating to us. We simply want to increase the amount we pay towards the principal but the app pops up an error message each time. When we call and talk to a human at Guild, they’re baffled and can’t believe we have the gall to call and complain about their amazing app. Plus, for 2 months we’ve not been able to pay additional money towards our principal. I believe the app must be designed to keep borrowers paying s long as possible so that Guild can keep collecting interest and profitting off folks like me.

Hard to find basic info such as monthly statements. Trying to do basic things such as making an extra principal payment or increase a an extra principal amount usually fails or has to be attempted multiple times. It's as if they let someone who has no experience usung apps design and set this up; I've never seen such a poor product.
