LendPlus - loan app Kenya

I have been a regular user of your app for about a year and a half and has been amazing, convenient and user friendly. However my last application in around May 2026 was rejected and I have been unable to enjoy the facility since then. I was recently advised that my application was rejected on account of age as i am above 62 years. This is absolutely no reason to deny and lose a good client who has borrowed and paid dutifully for a whole year and a half. You therefore need to revisit this age limit requirement and subject it to a review as to whether it is even necessary. Old is gold to me and there should be better reasons to reject an application other than age.

This is honestly the worst money lending platform. It harasses debtors who have not even defaulted on their loan repayment. The teams will endure to call you every 10minutes in 12hrs a day to threaten you to pay loan even before the due date yet the lending app clearly advised the day a loan falls due and any other necessary info. They will also keep calling you every time with senseless offers distracting your day and sending messages on CRB listing. This is a company that needs to be reported to CBK for harassment of clients. The rules and regulations are clear that they are not supposed to call for loan payment especially if one has not defaulted.

To whomever it may concern, Lend plus has the worst customer service i’ve experienced. In a span of one hour, lend plus calls c up-to 5 times. All with different numbers! Days before due date, customer service also calls not less than 6 times a day. Which begs the question what is the purpose of the app if we keep getting nerve wrecking calls. The reason given by your very rude operators is, every time i open the app “system detects” and automatically calls. When applying for the loan, your system doesn’t call, but just apply that loan, immediately get 3 follow up calls. It’s funny how their tones change from professional to “ lipa loan kabla saa tatu”. When your loan approval came in at noon if we are tracking time! Pathetic!. So what happens if one of your clients is unable to pay the loan on time, si mtamtafuta hadi na DCI, call their ancestors, call 60 times an hour? Let it be known, that we don’t need your petty coins loans. Yes…Sometimes people need a helping hand, but if it comes with a folded fist first… i’d rather not . No one want’s to be in debt, no one wants to be reminded that they are in debt because we already know! This will probably fly over HR , or whatever hierarchy of command is at Lend plus . Best believe you are getting the lowest rate in the stars app or anywhere related.
