Aptivated

Maintenance request portal appears to be designed lazily. It doesn’t have all options. Eg. Priority is only set to Routine, and category only set to General. There’s no way to delete a request after submitting it. There are redundant options like Main Bath and Master Bath.

I work as a property manager and am very familiar with this app and the back end Yardi system. The homepage of the app is super easy to use and has the main things needed but beyond that it can be incredibly difficult for residents to use. There’s a lot of items in it that are hidden or in odd places. It needs to be simplified. Notifications should be in the settings, there shouldn’t be a separate tab for “Sign Documents” vs. “Documents”,. On the resident side, there’s a lot of options for opting into communication categories but on the PM side, they don’t line up. Yardi CRM overall is a very buggy half baked platform and it’s reflected in this app. I also have no clue why Rents are Resident hasn’t been delisted if Aptivated is supposed to replace it. It’s just causing confusion.

The app is glitchy, crashes or logs you out constantly. There are no options to modify existing maintenance request or select preferred time. It’s almost impossible to sign a new lease through the app, the document jumps all over the place - there should be an option to open it in external browser or improve the size and behavior of the window that opens the document. And there is nothing going on inside the app (I guess it’s the building management issue). Ability to change colors and design would be a nice touch.
