I’ve always felt that gofundme didn't go far enough with the concept of helping people. Their platform is entirely based on how many people you know or followers you have. If you don't have many friends, you can't really get anything. This app could really help the people who don’t have anyone to support them. I like how every campaign is treated equally. It’s fairer than fundraising and makes it easier to raise money.
This app is great if you only know a few people that are willing to give you money. Each person you know that gives you money will increase the number of views “remaining” on your campaign. Even if you only know 5 people, when those 5 people give to your campaign on this app you will get a lot more views, which will result in raising even more money! This is a great way to leverage your social network to reach even more donors.
The people behind this app actually care about helping regular people. They want to help the struggling and vulnerable. I think their cause is extremely noble. Most of us take our economy for granted. We believe that homelessness, poverty, hunger, disenfranchisement, etc. are all a matter of fact. It’s only when people fight to change things and build something new that we realize there is a better way.
