My Meralco

My experience with the Meralco app has been consistently frustrating, forcing me to give it a one-star review. The primary issue is the login process. It is unnecessarily difficult and overly complicated for an app that is supposed to provide simple utility services, like viewing a bill. I understand the need for security, but this isn't a high-security banking app. The current login system creates a terrible user experience, blocking access to basic functions. An app's first job is to be accessible, and this one fails at that first hurdle. Until the login process is streamlined and made more user-friendly, the app remains practically unusable for me.

How can condo owners who lives in US pay bill online? The previous app allowed online payment from anywhere in the world. How about email Option for OTP? While in the country, I can pay the bill over the counter but it’s a hassle to go to Meralco office just to pay the bill. Once I leave the country, the bill will remain unpaid. Hope there’s no reconnection fee. The onus is on Meralco.

Their previous app did not work all of a sudden and they refer me to this new app. I tried to use my old login and it says my account has been deactivated. I created a new account and it does not send an OTP as they are supposed to do. Then i tried to login with my new account and it says that my new account has been deactivated too. This app does not work at all. They dis not even do a good quality control. With this buggy app, I am afraid this app could be easily hacked as they do not know well how this app works. Dangerously released app.
