The rates are competitive and although they don’t do wire transfers or have checking accounts I’m able to keep enough money in the accounts to earn adequate interest to pay maintenance on my condos via direct debit. The transfers to and from external banks take a couple of days which I don’t mind. Also this bank has real human beings answering the phone! How novel in the age of voice automated systems and robo calls.

Forbright Bank has three things going for it:
1. Consistently in the top few banks for highest interest paid on savings accounts.
2. Excellent customer service and the website works and everything does what it’s supposed to do without a hassle.
3. Pro environmental policy and sometimes little pro environmental parks like a free annual national Park pass for meeting certain balance requirements.

I have enjoyed using the app and the bank thus far. The one thing that does bother me is the amount of time that money transfers take. My accounts are linked and verified and have made transfers several times but it still takes days for them to send money to my other account.
