I remember the original Abyssrium. I was fairly little when I first found it and it was by far my favorite idle game. I played every game after that but after a while it just wasn’t the same to me anymore. It was supposed to be relaxing, but I was just stressing myself out, so I stopped. Then about a week ago I saw this game. I was confused at first but realized it was new. I’m very happy the first game was remade. To me it feels pretty much like it used to when I played the original years ago. It’s peaceful and that’s how I remember the original game to be before all the updates. Thank you for remaking my favorite idle game :)

I love how revamped and different all the gimmicks are in this one compared to the previous one! Obtaining things couldn't be much nicer without having to spend so much time in one sitting.. though for one exception.
I think the material collecting gimmick is still the most annoying. while everything in the game can progress with your time away from it, the collection of materials doesn't, making it slow and tedious, especially with both this and the previous game encouraging you to craft items or use it for other like wise purposes. I feel like I'm gonna have to force myself to drop into the game every 10 mins just to collect my seaweed.
If I were to make it more convenient, without making it too easy to harvest, consider adding a similar mechanic to auto vitality collection; if material is left uncollected by the player offline within 2x the time it took to grow, it will be automatically harvested. this makes it so players don't have to check 24/7, but it will take up to 3x the time it would take for material to be harvested. I doubt this is something that would be added to the game, but I do at least hope this helps the dev team consider this idea. other words, love your game <3

I played the original abyssrium years ago when it first came out, I remember how hooked I was to it. After it changed to TapTap fish, to me personally the game took a downfall. Too much going on, too many events and UI was clustered, it was very confusing as to when I had last played it. Abyssrium the Classic brings back what the old game used to be- simple, relaxing and fun and with nicer music. I know this game is still fairly new, so more yet to come but I have a couple ideas I would like to share. I noticed fish yet to be unlocked are black until you unlock them, but if you tap on them you can see what it is or looks like. I think it would be fun to keep them “mysterious” until once unlocked so you can be surprised with the new fish you get. Also (even though it’s more work) maybe adding more animations of the fish interacting with the coral more instead of just swimming around would be nice and be more immersive. Overall happy with the game and excited for what is yet to come.
