As a long time karate student of Richard and Yanti’s I am so appreciative of their creation of the IKAGI Ap. Year on year I wished I had been able to write notes after each class in the dojo as the rich and unique teachings flow so constantly. The Ap really allows constant opportunities to review all elements of the form. Richard’s mastery and lifetime integration of thinking through the meanings of Bunkai, biomechanics of force and fluidity of movement are simply not found elsewhere and hard to conjure in the mind alone. It is just really great to be able to sample lessons and review Kata or Kumite fine points. Beyond having the archive, the availability of tapping into training while away on travel for those of us who travel often is invaluable. I recommend the Ap to all serious students!

In this day and age where everyone pretends to be an “expert”, this app is a refreshing change back to the time where true masters were few and far between. This app has the beauty of traditional and demanding karate taught by Amos Sensei - a true world master. The app allows for the user to learn directly from someone who has direct lineage from the original legends in karate in the comfort of your own home or gym. This is truly unthinkable only a few decades ago. Enjoy and value this gift. Amos Sensei is one of the best karate instructors (if not THE best) in the world.

This app is exceptional in every respect. There are few Senseis in the world of the calibre of Richard Amos, and to have his teaching available in accessible units covering such a wide range of wisdom is an opportunity not to be missed. From technique to history and culture to teaching advice, this app give you access to world class instruction at any time. For those of you teaching, your teaching approach and skills will improve from the first minute. The app is also wonderfully well organised. Yanti Amos’ meditation and yoga are outstanding and so enjoyable—very relevant to karate but as well to anyone in your world who might not be interested in the karate. I cannot recommend this app highly enough, and I’m not someone who spends time on apps.
