Tetramon is an engaging, monster-collecting game that’s surprisingly fun and addictive. As you battle through various levels, collect new creatures, and improve your roster, you’ll find yourself losing track of time—it’s a great way to relax or pass a few minutes between tasks. Plus, the game provides plenty of ways to progress without spending any money, which is ideal for free-to-play players. The only downside is the ad system, which starts off smoothly but eventually stops showing ads after a while. This can be frustrating, especially if you’re trying to collect rewards that are typically offered for watching ads. For free-to-play users, this means missing out on valuable in-game items. Still, with its charming design and enjoyable gameplay, Tetramon is a solid choice for anyone looking for a casual yet strategic gaming experience.
I love the concept of this game. It scratches the mental itch of wanting to open card packs. And the idea of displaying and selling the cards you open is super cool. where the game falls flat however, is the sheer lack of things to do and the absurd amount of time it takes to get anything done. When you level up, you get to expand for free which should be cool. However, you are only able to place a shelf or two per level so you cannot physically fill all the space; leaving the store looking bare and empty. And the shelves don't even match so it ends up looking ugly. On top of the lack of options shelving and decor, it takes anywhere between 1 and 4 hours so far to do anything. You want a new shelf? Come back in an hour and a half. You want to upgrade a different shelf? Come back in 3 hours. (I know that is just the state of mobile games in general but hear me out). You are also limited to only being able to build/upgrade 2 things at once so you feel like you are getting nothing done. The money you make from selling your cards also might as well be useless, I have over I million dollars and I cannot spend it if I tried. So in short, the game is just not worth your time. It's fun at first but is so unrewarding as soon as you get into it. You have to just open it every few hours to progress the tiniest bit and then go back to waiting some more, and at that paint, the game itself is just pointless. All of that time waiting just to maybe open a couple packs when you open the game is absurd. I would love to see a different studio pick up this idea and do it better because again, it can be so enjoyable but they fumbled this idea super hard. I enjoyed the little bit of time I spent playing the game but it has just become to frustrating and I quit
Since my last review Ive gotten to counter lvl 12. This game is really fun. Ive collected lots of cool cards and theres a display feature to display and sell individual cards which is like. The music is okay, wish there were choices. Ive gotten 4 builders now, and working on saving for the 5th. I havent spent money on anything, event to remove ads. All in all, this game gave me what I wanted but left me desiring more. I really would like to see more from the building. Like a second floor maybe. Also the devs should make the Tetramon cards an actual battler. They have stats and everything, how cool would it be to use then to battle nps and friends? This feature would totally catch people by surprise and give us more to do for fun. Make a friends list so you can visit people and buy their cards as well as duel and give us an avatar. You have art for people coming to the store so that means we can pick which one is our store owner and represents us. Cuz sometimes you see the "owner" avatar come in to shop.
