My whole life I always thought that God was this angry man that was mad at us because of our sins. But no, these teachings really helps us understand God and how much he loves us and isn’t mad at us but yearns for us. And there’s even more teachings as well that helps learn how to get closer to him and abide in that LOVE that God has for us!!

I came across this author on TikTok, which led me to Back to Basics Bible Study on Facebook, then this app where there are focused studies to help you understand basic principles and common struggles in our walk with Christ, and how to overcome them. No self-help books can ever truly heal our hearts and minds. This has been an incredible blessing to me.

I’ve always felt like “THERE JUST HAS TO BE MORE” to Christianity than what I was experiencing growing up and as an adult. I just couldn’t find it… anywhere—that’s until I started watching the live and recorded Biblical teachings of Tony Ellis, first at Back to Basic Bible Study, and now at Character to Destiny. I have found what my heart has always known to be true and yearned for… a personal and authentic relationship with Jesus! I’ve come to know the loving heart of Father God and learned that the Holy Spirit is not just a force, but a person—an ever-present Friend. And that’s just the start of it! I no longer read the Bible like I used to—it truly is the living Spirit-breathed Word of God.
