WebLink Host

You will have to be running on iOS 15 or better for it to work since Weblinks recent update, but since than it has MUCH improved stability wise. Yes you must keep the web link Home Screen open and running if you want to stream music videos from YT as you’re driving down the road (an bypass for e-brake as well) but how much more are you asking for?! We are lucky to even have an hosting app available to us to even begin with! And people are complaining! The background tasks/APIs are questionable, but it’s trustworthy enough for the most part and I haven’t found any bugs or vulnerabilities. Solid 4 stars. *1 year update* Much improvement over the past year, the devs are really putting time into making the app a smoother all around package. Still works on Pioneer DMH-1500NEX

Just downloaded the app and every time I open it immediately dies. Big disappointment. I sent them an email so we will see if I get a response. Update: I contacted their team and they were extremely responsive and worked diligently to fix the issue! They sent me an email and then a beta version to fix what was happening and the app works beautifully now!!

When I first got my pioneer stereo, the app worked once and then it crashed every time I opened it. I was frustrated, but I contacted customer service. They sent me the beta version through TestFlight. I shared my analytics with them and told them what was wrong, and a little bit of time later, boom. It works flawlessly. I was so excited to FINALLY get to use Weblink in my car. I can’t even tell you how happy I was. Everything works exactly as it should! Their customer service was amazing as well. They’ve emailed me several times out of the blue telling me about the new beta version and a couple of other things. It shows they care about my experience with the app and it shows that they care. I’m very impressed and I recommend this to anyone with a Weblink compatible stereo. If you have any issues, let customer service know! They’ll help!
