My phone connects to the headset Bluetooth no problem through my iPhone Bluetooth settings. The app is the issue. It isn’t recognizing the headset is connected and when I hold the Bluetooth button the headset for 6 seconds, it disconnects from my phone and nothing happens. I’ll contact customer service tomorrow, but if I can’t get this sorted within the week I’ll be returning this headset. These cost too much to not work as advertised.
Major issues connecting to app, hence the 3 stars. App seems ok otherwise. iPhone. Tried what others posted in reviews but no luck. While I waited for tech Sppt to email me back, I switched my phone WiFi to 2g. Not sure why it mattered it was on 5g as it’s using BT to connect. For whatever reason, it worked. 1. Phone on 2g WiFi 2. Connect headset to phone BT 3. Open rig app for the first time and allow to search for BT. If you already opened app, you may need to reinstall. Don’t hold BT button on headset since it’s already connected to phone 4. Good luck
So there’s a common error most people get when trying to connect the headset to the app. I had the same problem as well until I spoke with tech support. They don’t specify this in the instructions (which is crazy), but take these steps to ensure the app will recognize the headset and connect properly: first take the headset and connect it to your phone’s Bluetooth, second open the app and allow it to use Bluetooth when prompted and it should connect. third, connect the base station with usb inserted into your console. DO NOT CONNECT TO CONSOLE BEFORE TRYING THE APP as this will not allow the app to connect to the headset for whatever reason. Hope this helps. As far as the app functionality, it’s pretty good after you get connected
